Beginner BattleDome Tips...
      #390192 - 09/10/2005 02:07

My brother just wants to start out in the battledome. He's fairly new to Neopets and would like to start battling some of the weaker 1-player challengers.

Here are the stats of his strongest pet...

Shark_Dude202

Species : Flotsam
Level : 2
Health : 11 / 11
Strength : average
Defence : below average
Move : fast

also since he's just starting out on neopets his budget's about 10-15,000 NP. Any suggestions on what he should do, weapons and stuff like that.
Thanks

well if he wants to battle stronger opponents later on, he'll have to start training, because his stats are pretty weak.

for 10k, just get two scarab rings. when he's got some more NPs buy a leaf shield and a greater healing scroll as well.

train up levels and then the rest. get a decent boost like 55 and start getting some good weapons.

I agree with soleilduplomb and pretvlieg. They both have good ideas.

I'm not very good in the battledome, my neopet i always use is a buzz
Level : 2
Health : 7 / 7
Mood : happy
Hunger : very full
Strength : quite strong
Defence : heavy
Move : fast

His items that are equipped are: loads of snowballs, wooden blocking sheild, golden geraptiku talisman, and an enhanced solar gauntlet.
I kind of guessed that you have to win to get levels up, but how many? (i got it on level 2 from coltzan)

I'm in need of advice, I can't defeat the Pant Devil (for Defenders Level 1) and I don't know what to do, everytime I come anywhere close, he heals (last time he had 1 HP and healed). MY pet's stats are as follows, and as for funds, I am incredibly poor (help meeeee! j/k). But my funds are limited, so I'd somewhere between 1000-7000 MAAAAAYBE 10000. Any suggestions?

_Frostfell_ the Bori
------
STATS
Agility : 9 (fast)

Buy two Scarab Rings (Multiple Use) or use sticky snowballs (One Use item), which are good for causing a lot of damage. A Slime Potion (10 hp) would probably help for healing your pet when it gets too low. I've heard that they are low in price and are Once Per Battle items. Otherwise, you should save up for stronger healers such as the Bronze Scorchstone (15 hp), gain the faerie abilities Burrow, Sink, and Drain Life, and train your pet some more.

If I have 100k-200k, what items would be best if my stats were:

Level : 3

Health : 8 / 8
Strength : very strong
Defence : heavy
Move : super speedy
Intelligence : average

I would recommend using some of those neopoints at the academy or training school on endurance and take some suggestions from my previous post.
