Volcano Run.. 2!
It's now out of beta testing so everyone can play it now.
So what do you think?
I'm sort of sick of neopets remaking my favourite games. I'm okay with the flashier grapics but Im absolutely sick of them screwing up my games, they either leave out something that made it great or they change the game to make it slower.
Unfortunately this is another disapointment to me. Sure it looks tons better than before, but dude how slow does it want to be? I got bored before the game got fast enough for me.
The neopoint giveout is 100% your score which is very genourous since we get three lives now and the game is as slow as ever. I only could stand one life and already I got 395 points.
The 100% payout will most likely be deducted in the future.
I hope next time neopets changes or makes a new game they add a level feature, this would make them way more entertaining.
I must say I rather enjoy the new Z and X feature, it makes this game more fun, and its easier. Unfortunately this added feature is not as nice as pressing the very large space button but I can get used to it.
Oh well it looks like one of my favourite games is heading to the games graveyard, lets hope this one warms up to me quick

I do like the Z and X features 
I have heard that 1500 is the new avatar score, but unfortunately I have quite some work to get up there xD If anyone manages to score 1500, could you please check your avatar list (providing you didn't already have it) and see if you got the Volcano Run avatar? Thanks

I like the Z and X feature.. very much.. Its back on the favorite games now.. cause of the large screen.. I can see more clearly now.. whee.. :P

Well, I'm not very good at it, but I like this one better, honestly. The Z and X feature help. I dig the music, too.

Volcano Run used to be my favourite game, so it's sad to see it go  Well, I know it's not actually gone , but near as!
I don't like that Glubgar is now sooo fragile! It used to be that you could skim the fireballs and he'd be okay, but now he explodes in a cloud of ashes just from the heat!
Plus the bubble has changed entirely I used to be able to go half the game with a bubble protecting me, but now it vanishes after a few seconds, making it entirely pointless!
I also don't understand the three lives... why have them? I preferred having a break in between attempts, but now once I die I have to go straight back into it without a chance to flex my fingers!
At least Glubgar still flies in the right direction!
Edit: I do like however, that they show the number of points you get for collecting the gems. I always used to wonder whether I got any points for the gems in the last version when I hit then at the same time (if you get my meaning )
BUT I do not see why they have put an "End Game" button in... Volcano Run is one of the few games where this is entirely unnecessary. In the process of going to click the end game button, chances are you've already sunk into a wall!

I agree, it's much slower but i like the C and V features loads.
Plus, it doesn't give us 3 lives, it gives us 3 chances. Remember, if you go for the avatar, it doesn't add them all up. It takes your bonus and the best distance. Don't make the same mistake i did.
