I go to the money tree every once in awhile and every time I click on an item it's already gone. It doesn't matter what I do but everything is gone in a split second. So how does one get ANYTHING from the money tree nowadays.

Very very very quickly. You're up against tens of thousands of other people, all clicking on the same item at the same time. Chances of getting anything that way are incredibly low. I very occasionally can nab something (not that it's ever something worth bothering with), really it's just the luck of clicking on something as soon as it's donated. Refreshing at just the right time and clicking fast enough. All chance.

You know, actually what I do, is I refresh 5 times then hit Page Down on my keyboard and CLICK!!!! There are sometimes where I can nab like, 5 items using this strategy! I mean, not by clicking and having new tabs, but repeating this process over and over.....

I scroll all the way to the bottom and hope for the best. That's my strategy.

Always refresh while scrolled all the way at the bottom. You have a better chance grabbing things in the last one or two rows.
As items are taken from the tree, new donations are added to the bottom.

I nab all sorts of things. I scroll down quickly and click whatever I can reach. I've gotten some pretty good stuff there! ;)

Mostly, I get sea ferns and stuff. I like the gray ones, so it works out occaisonally (sp?).
