Redraws?

You know, I'm not sure on the redraws, but typically I don't like them. I miss the old, ugly Skeith. I miss the short, curly hair of the Earth Faerie. In addition, all the fanart I've drawn kind of "no longer applies" since the character designs have since changed. Anyone else run into this problem? For example, here's an older faerie pic I drew:
