NeoItems.net: Forum Rules

General
1) Please talk about Neopets & GoPets stuff only. The only exception to this is the "Off Topic" forum.
2) Please keep to the board topic.
3) Too much complaining about Neopets or GoPets is not welcome.
4) Please leave the moderating to the moderators!

What You May Not Do
5) NO swearing, flaming or being nasty!
6) Please do not flood the boards with unnecessary and useless comments.
7) No begging or asking for donations.
8) Please edit your post if you think of something to add. Do not reply to your own posts.
9) Putting the same post on each forum is not allowed.
10) Don’t make a post telling everyone if Neopets is down (or buggy). We all know it already.
11) You may not copy an image from neopets.com, change it, then post it here. Posting edited images from the Neopets.com website is against their TOS. Please read the full post in the General Forum about this subject.

Contests and Offers
12) The only contests/givaways etc. allowed on Neoitems come from me (the Webmaster).
13) Do not post the answers to Neopets competitions like Mystery Picture or Lenny Conundrum.
14) No services are allowed to be offered for NP.
15) If you want people to vote for your pet in a beauty contest etc., post once in “Trades, Plugs, Sales & Swaps.” Do not send PMs (Private Messages) about it to forum members who are not already your friends. It is SPAM! (See Note3.)

Safety
16) Please don't ask how many NP people have.
17) Please do not post how many NP you have. It might make you a target of scammers and put your account at risk.
18) Please don't post other people's email addresses on the forum.
19) Do not mention any of the Neopets staff in your posts. Posting names and email addresses may result in a permanent ban from the forum.
20) If you are under 13 you may not post any personal information on this website. This includes, but is not limited to, personal photos, full name, address, school.
21) If you are under 18 you may not post any personal information (see 20) without the permission of your parent or guardian.

Typing
22) Don't post a mixture of caps and lower case e.g. ThIs DrIvEs Me NuTs aNd Is vErY hArD tO rEaD!
23) Don't post in all capital letters - this is considered shouting and very rude.
24) Do not use chatspeak or L33T - it is very childish.....
