I'll add that to the edit thanks, could you possiblely tell me around the time this happened, like a year ago, 3 years ago, because my current theory is TNT changed the lab rules within the last previous year or so to make them less strict.

Ha I knew it! You don't just ONLY get basic colors, maybe its just alot more common, again though if you could please tell me when abouts you didn't get a basic color after a species change then that would be so helpful.

Sorry for not updating it, a week after I posted this my tests started comming up, then after my tests I got a new computer, and I spent the next two weeks after that organising the computer and getting used to it. Then after that I just plain forgot about it
