Item questions--Non-tradables? What's the use?

Okay, I have a few item that I got in my newbie pack marked 'non-tradeable'. I really don't want these items, but some are rare or uncommon and I'd rather sell them and get the NP!! What can i do?
The Items Are:
Starter Blue Paint Brush
Starter Green Pain Brush
Liobits
Weeble
Also, is there no way to sell items bought with NC? And I have a blue Ixi plushie that is said to be worth about 1,000 NP, but shopwizard keeps bringing me prices of 3 or 4 NP.
