From what I can gather from the TCG the plot involes the following points.

Long ago an agreement was made for Prince Jazan and Princess Amira to marry.
Prince Jazan returns (or appears I dunno lol) and demands them to be married.
Prince Jazan seems to be from a place called Qasala (new desert map?) but quoted from a tcg 'The living had not set foot in Qasala for centuries, and quite frankly, the evil spirts were getting bored.' so it doesn't sound the NICEST of places so i'm sure any battles will be against this place.
Elsewhere in the lost desert there is a gang called 'the desert scarabs' the ixi, Nabile, and the lupe, Tomos are both members. They are minor theives in Sahkmet and I'm sure they are involed SOMEHOW, and no doubt will end up heros. (this may include 'Megan' an aisha but it is hard to tell from the tcg)
