Not true. I'm using the fastest DSL connection available here and it's FAST...however, I still hate the toolbars. The topbanner is obnoxious and I am still furious about the text color problem. Anyone who doesn't use cutesy pastel backgrounds is now seriously ... inconvenienced, to put it nicely. I had a black background in my shop at the time of the institution of the new sidebar, and my prices all became black...I could have been frozen for their stupid bug. They need to get the text color problem fixed. When they do, I'll be less irritated by the sidebars.
I've heard and seen proof, however, that they had political banners showing on occasion. Someone I know clicked one and was taken to a site which showed a photo of a mangled dead body. HIGHLY INAPPROPRIATE for a site with so many young children...
