I do on my main account. I had to move a pet to another account (but I lost him
( ). I like my current pets too much to zap them for a while so I'm zapping adoptees. I have a fire acara, robot grarrl and a fairy wocky, all zapped 
I did end up keeping one, a grey peophin, because he was so awesome looking but normally I don't as most adopted pets have yucky names IMO.
