No, there haven't been any new avatars in a while. They have been rereleasing old ones but there haven't been any new ones since around June

It's kinda odd there hasn't been any new avvies in a while, and I think in total for this year, there's only been about 5 released (if even that).
I guess TNT is too busy with wearables, now---which hurts. *would rather enjoy new avvies*

I thought so. New avvies would b nice....maybe they'll make a closet avvie or wearable avvie.

I would rather enjoy new avatars as well. I collect avatars and I'm almost at 200 but all the easy ones I have already. Wearables are nice but now I have to many to put on my pets, plus there seems to be a lot of hats and not any shirts, pants, etc.

You can get NeoCash from the Qasalan Expellibox(150 NC at a time). I really want them to add more avatars after finishing the Wearables...

Personally, I think there haven't been a bunch of new avvies recently for the pure reason that there are over 350 secret ones of them and that's a lot... for over a year they released a new one on every pet day and every special day and I think they got tired of it. Having to come up with places to hide them and then having people on the boards constantly complaining one way or another... "It's too difficult to find the avatar!" "PNG not another stupid clicky..." I found it quite annoying, personally. No one was ever just happy that there were avatars being released in the first place.

I personally think that them taking so long to make new avvies helps make the current ones they have more valuable and worth getting. If they kept releasing new ones, eventually no one would want to collect the avvies as much because they would be too over-done.
I agree that seeing people whine about avvies being too hard to get in the neoboards got to be pretty annoying for awhile there.
They're also probably working on getting items made out for their new Petpetpet habitat game they're creating. I'm glad they're spending a lot of their time on the wearables right now because there's not much available that's worth buying just yet. Perk up, though! I'm sure they'll start releasing a few avvies here and there soon enough. ^_^
