Snowballs may be one use,
but they can be quite effective sometimes!
(Especially the exploding ones)

There is no "best but cheapest" battledome item. Best and Cheapest vary with each other. The better, the less cheap; the worse, the cheaper. It really comes down to what you want to pay.

That's right.
But to answer on your question I think that would be Leaf Shield. It's not very expensive and even the people who have expensive items using them too.

Tortured Snowballs are often better than Stickys.
Fire Muffins are better than both and can be gotten quite cheap.

leaf shield is good but if you have a quiggle, the boomarang is really good compared to its price..

Well, my Lupe is still fairly weak etc but I'm finding the Bronze Short Sword + Scarab Ring combined with the Lupe Prowl is working for me.
