It is hard to say for sure anymore but Ramtors Spellbook is most likely better because the full blockers of physical are much cheaper than the full blockers of darkness (Ring of the Lost). The problem with Ramtors Spellbook is that the faerie ability sink can completely destroy it but sink is less common than burrow, which does not block light and darkness icons.
I would also like to mention that this kind of a thread does not belong in this board. It should have been in the the Battledome discussion or Items area.

What other weapons do you have? Ideally, you should have weapons that do damage of each icon type. So if you're low on dark, the Spellbook may be good for you.
