 surprised to see you don't even tell us what level and stats of your battle pet...
how can we know and give advices? also what weapons you have with you please DO tell us

If you have a max hp of 10+, and str/def are 12+, take two Scarab Rings, and two Mud Snowballs. And something that heals fully.
Use a snowball and a ring on the first round. Heal and use the ring if you need healing. If not, use a ring and a snowball. If he's not beaten yet, use both rings until he is!
The Scarab Rings are VERY useful. If your pet is strong, other cheaper snowballs might work.
