pets stats to increase for a newbie
|
hi there, i've been in neopets for quite a long time but never tried the bd cause i wasn't sure of how to do it. it finally took me some guts to try it out. but trying out blindly is bad...
my pet is quite weak since i only trained him like 4/5 times and i wasn't sure which stats should i increase first. can anyone suggest which stats should i increase and till which level? here's my pets stats...species: aisha
hp: 12/12
Strength: quite strong
Defence: heavy
Move: super speedy
Intelligence: genius
abilities: spark (just this...
)as far as weapons are concerned, i bought some which are recommended by the users in this forum for newbies like me...
the list are - green frost cannon, scarab ringx2, leaf shield, Illusens Earth Potion. is there anything else that anyone would recommend that doesn't take up like a huge sum of np? my budget would be below 50k per item....

The most important stat to increase is your hit points. Make sure that it is always double your level. Without high hit points you won't get far in the battledome.
The other important ones are strength and defence however the boosts (damage multipliers which give you more attacking and defending power) aren't per level, rather they are in sets.

So with strength and defence the way to train is to the highest boost that can be gained at your level and then wait. (Or you could just train up to double your level again.)
As for abilities the best ones are Sink and Burrow and I think Drain Life as well as one of the healing ones and a freezing one (Diamond Dust).

I don't know about the best weapons but it sounds like you've got all the good, cheap ones.

thanks alot summernight... about the hitpoints, i tried training him for endurance once... and basically in only increases 1point for the amount of np we're paying... *sighs* so basically i do need to cough up a bunch of np for this...
