You have to make the icon thing by yourself. That icon thing we call it a Blinkie. On my site there is a Blinkie Maker, maybe you can use it!

You don't have to make the image yourself. They aren't always Blinkies, only if they blink like mine 
If you want to use a NeoPets image you can simply enter the URL for that image, but as the_tamer says the linked post answers all
