Can someone explain to me what "threads" are?

I'm new and i have no clue what I'm doing...

I just wanted to know what threads are... I'm so lost o.O

But i love the site anyway!

Threads are what we call each topic - for example your post "Can someone explain to me what "threads" are?" is a thread

(Hopefully that makes some sense, I'm not good at explaining things lol)

Yup, StarryDraik is right. Each new topic that you can click on within each section, like General Chat, is called a thread.
