database list order

when did they change the order in which items show up in the database? it was always easy to find new items previously as they were at the end of each category. Now they seem to be in alphabetical order - not helpful at all for finding the new stuff. As a shop keeper who knows what the old stuff was and could previously bypass it easily on the lists I think the old way was better. Is there a way to change the order for my own viewing or am I stuck with this way now?

I have tried to find what you mean, but the only thing I could come up with is if you use the Default searches on the Special Lists.. And that, you can easily change by setting the 'Sort By:' box to ID Number instead of Name.
As for the categories, they are still on ID Order, so perhaps you could go into a bit more detail about which searching box you actually mean and what you filled in, in the seperate boxes.

Yup - nothing has changed orderwise so it must be something you did
