New to the site still

I join long time ago but still this is the first time I have been back. As I look around I have not truely figure this out. I remeber at one time you never had to log on to here an you can see all the items there are. But I do understand why it is needed. If someone can help me in here it would be great. It will take me time before I can get back here..somethings have happen in my real life and I'll do the best i can to jump in when I can..so please bear with me and if i have not come back to answer it's not that i can't it will be a bit
