Question please

Hi I received an email requesting a temporary password for my user name to log into here. I haven't been in here in awhile and I was just wondering why this was done or if someone here knows anything.

password for the Login Name 'PIA' for the website 'NeoItems.net'. This is
a temporary password that can be used if you have forgotten your
original password. If you did not request this, please ignore this message.

If someone knows your username they can request a temporary password at any time. Since the email address is yours though they will never receive it and will not be able to log in anyway. I don't know why people do that (since it is a waste of time) but it happens quite a lot.

Yea I thought it was kinda funny myself since no one has access to my email account but just to be on the safe side I changed a few things lol
