Whack-a-Kass How To...

I noticed the high score for whacking the Kass is over 3000! How do they get that kind of score? My highest was 1160,.. I heard somewhere that you can get the tree to whack him with? Has anyone heard of that? I am already holding the space when I'm supposed to and letting it go, waiting for the 9 etc...
So whats the catch? How do you score 3000 or more?

3000?! I can barely get 900, if I'm lucky. And I've been hearing some hubbub about whacking him with a tree. What's this, then?

Sometimes the tree that Kass is dropped off falls over...and that allows you to get super high scores...Its random and very rare. Unfortunatly its seems that people have found a wway to make this happen un-randomly and have been using it to cheat in the WCs (Take that back if its a legitimate code, but I dont think it is!)
