What do you do in Guilds?

I have been on neopets for long time now and I still don't know what a guild is or does. Can someone please tell me what you do in guilds? Thanks

They are basically just a place where people with a common interest go and post instead of posting on the neoboards.

They also participate in fun events together like a battledome tournament.

Chat, have dung fights, have other items fights, i've been in disallowed 1np auction guilds before but I didn't know it wasn't allowed. Sometimes the guild owner will put up pics. It's funner than it sounds.
