HELP! I can't seem to see the ceiling!(12th const)

i'm already in the 12th constellation. i have the flat 3inch rock. i went to the basement and clicked a gear but it seems that there's no button to return to the janitor. there's just the button to the hall. i can't obtain a button that lets me view the ceiling after clicking a gear.. what's wrong with my steps?

I don't know what you can do, maybe they closed the plot.. I am still on the first const, I can't find it, dang thing :P

After clicking a gear.. go back to the hall.. then the obstervatory.. there's a button there that lets you see the ceiling.. see some guides for help..
