Kurokama Arms: An Original Action/Fantasy RP

(( So, here's the basic premise: in a town in between the natural and supernatural realms, there is an apartment complex, as well as a force dedicated to controlling out-of-control supernatural entities, called the SCSF. This complex, which lies right on the fringe of the nearest SCSF station's jurisdiction, holds many types of apartments, from studio to penthouse, and is well-known for accepting supernatural entities, from ghosts to yokai, at fair prices equal to those of human tenants, and accepting said tenants as staff at fair wages, as well. For humans, it's pretty low. For yokai, ghosts, and the rest, however, it's very prestigious. However, the landlord is known to have a violent temper should the rules be ignored, and is licensed and willing to resort to force to evict a tenant if necessary...
People are free to be any part of the staff, or a tenant, or someone who lives near the the arms. They may even be a friend or family member of an aforementioned person. This takes place in the modern day, but reality is loosely attached, so odd occurrences are bound to happen. Anyone is free to introduce a mini-plot; there is no major plot here yet. I'll be playing as Marcus Hallifer, the landlord. He has no special powers, but is a former SCSF member. Now, before posting any long intros or anything, I'll wait for someone to express interest in joining.))

(( Wow, I had almost given up on this, but something in the back of my head told me to check it... ))
Marcus leaned back in his chair. It was quiet, slow day. For now, at least. He actually didn't mind these periods of inactivity, although they weren't why he left the SCSF; he had left because of the red tape he had to go through to help people. Due to this, opinion of the SCSF was rather polarized, and support had popped up for untrained vigilante groups, such as the famous "White Collar Gang" (but more on that later.)
He checked the security cameras again while running a hand through his very short blond hair. It was unbelievable that nothing had happened: it would be the fifth day in a row.
The Kurokama Arms was a very large complex. Two pools, two subterranean water-filled apartment "buildings" that had been converted from pools (they were for the aquatic supernatural beings, such as merpeople,) and a large center building. As such, there were too many things to be taken care of, but Marcus managed. With a sigh, he straightened his position and let the chair's front legs fall back onto the floor.
