 I think pets should be feed so you can battle in the battle dome! i feed mine with jelly and omelettes!

I feed my pets on anything except the gross foods.. I'm currently trying to figure out what determines what food pets eat.. like the boring books that are connected to the name.. think it's name too but I'm collecting results

I always keep my pets bloated... I login to my add accounts to feed them at the soup kitchen and my main pets are at the Neolodge

 i used to all the time when i first start on neo but it took me like 9 months til i found out about the neolodge. i put all my gallery pets in the lodge every first of the month and my main acct pets i try and feed regularly. :P

Live in a hotel most of the time, but a lot of the times I forgot that they are out, and they starve a while until I have time to put them back in! I'm so cruel!

Mine live in the neolodge too lol
Someone told me that it was cruel to put them in the neolodge for so long but I always do what i want anyways 
Plus we are always losing our internet someway or another so I put them in there so they won't starve lol
I don't trust anyone to take care of them for me (I know no one but the owner is supposed to take care of them but I do have nice IRL friends who did but ya know..)

Well, the whole point of Neopets is the Neopets themselves, right? So I always feed them, play with them, etc..

I have the money to either buy food for my pets or book them in the Neolodge, but I'd rather pay attention to them. It just seems a little sad to always leave them at the Lodge.

My gallery pets live in the lodge, but I play with and groom them regularly. My main account pets I feed all the time.

I've kept my pets delighted all year round ^_^ well.. thats what happens when you spoil them alot.. they are happy when you first get them.. but I played with them until they got delighted... and have been since then. I am such a good owner. I did forget to feed them once *gasp* it was a busy week.. poor babies

I use to collect special foods and feed my pets mostly omletts but now I realize that the purpose of the food is to feed it to the pets LOL so now I save one of the special foods in my safety deposit box just for me and feed all the rest to them. But they still get omletts a lot LOL

since neopets don't really die, people usually don't feed there pets, but i always try to kepp them full just so they can stay happy

I find the responses here fascinating! I've played for well over 2 years and I feed, groom, and play with each of my pets daily. I'm afraid I do judge people by how well their pets are cared for. I think it says something about them. I agree with the few who think it is the main purpose of the game.

I never feed my pets, and they're not in the lodge. They're dying, but I don't care. Why? Because there's absolutely no negative effects for keeping them hungry, and I don't battle.
So this is just a lot simpler and easier.

I only sometimes feed my pet. Its only when I can be bothered or want to battle. Otherwise its a bit of a nusiance and well lets face it. You dont really need to because they wont die! I just dont like them with no HP :S lolz. I sometimes put them into a hotel.

Sometimes I forget, and when I look at the stats page... Panic, panic, panic. Go to the omelette, the jelly, the shop wizard... Get omelette if it's 20 np or under... And on my extra accounts I just use the soup kitchen. But if i'm feeling really lazy, I put them in the hotel overnight. Just for one night- I don't lack that much memory!
