Why, because I have tried plently of times to buy PBs only to have richer people, with faster comps and connections rip them right out of my reach.
Why? Because weither you believe it or not, Neo is not very fair. There are those out there able to wipe out shop stock with their little gizmos and programs, making it difficult for people like me to buy the things I'd like! 
try food club and stock market. or meerca chase and zurroball on a slow computer. i've always used dail up and believe me, i can make 100k a month and in half a year, that's enough for the full lab set.
and 100k a month isn't even a lot of np.

I like creating new pets and then once they are something cool dumping them in the pound. I'd like to think that I'm doing something nice for some of my fellow Neopians... that and I'm too afraid to zap ChillieWillie  She's too high of a level for me to want to risk it... and there is *no* amount of NP in the world that would convince me to zap my VorpalBunnyRabbit.. *shivers* I remember how much it cost to get the Potion just to have one Besides, it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside hoping that maybe a little kid will randomly see a pet that I've zapped into something pretty neat and be able to get a rare pet that (hopefully) they want and will take care of.

Me too since I have a Tyrannian Peophin, I will get ugly pets and make them dazzling.

I think that is cruel I mean you worked really hard to do that Iwould never do that to my lost desert uni (see petpage)

I only zap my pets to get cool species/colour changes without wasting NP on paintbrushes. My two faerie pets are painted, but the other one is zapped.

Not anymore. It feeds into the beggars who are looking for someone to give them a painted pet without having to work for it.
I've created a bunch of pets that I'm planning to zap until they turn into something that catches my eye. My first one turned Cybunny. My second has yet to turn into something I like, though.

I would if I could.
First, my only lab ray is on a side account I very nicely called "lab ray account". Two of the pets are named after friends and the other two are just random pets. Plus I blew my lab map nps on a neohome ROFL
