Would you be able to add an option where you can customize the forum subjects you see? As in this case, there is no need for me to view the subject, "Introductions and Farewells".

You can use the "Favorite Forums" feature and click the link at the bottom for all the forums you wish to view (but don't add in Introductions, etc.) and then toggle Favorite Forums on so that it will only display the ones you have chosen.

At the bottom of each forum (Items, General Chat, Comments, etc.) there is a box that looks like:
Extra information
1 registered and 0 anonymous users are browsing this forum.
Moderator: Webmaster, NeoItemsFaerie, otters, OldTimer, ricenoodles, StarryDraik
Favorite Forum! (toggle) <--Click this to add it
Then you can turn on the option from the link at the bottom of teh forums list, or http://www.neoitems.net/neohelp/toggleshow.php?Cat=
