The idea is fairly cool...however, the ad banners at the top are incredibly lame. Additionally, it messes up the text color in shops, lookups, etc., which is VERY annoying and troublesome. People with dark shop backgrounds could get in trouble! 
Also, each one seems to alter layouts differently--I just fixed my guild's layout after they revamped the yellow sidebar and it's totally changed (the div tags and whatnot) with the halloween one.

I agree with mbif that if the sidebars change the guilds, shops, user lookups things we are encouraged to change then why have the different sidebars at all

The ads at the top just really bother me... more than I can truly elaborate.

The new toolbar is much nicer than the old one, but the top banner is really starting to annoy me.

I didn't see an option for I hate it, but you know, whatever. I think this issue just goes back to the ol' connection wars, you generally like it if you have a fast connection, and don't like it if you are toting a slow one.

Not true. I'm using the fastest DSL connection available here and it's FAST...however, I still hate the toolbars. The topbanner is obnoxious and I am still furious about the text color problem. Anyone who doesn't use cutesy pastel backgrounds is now seriously ... inconvenienced, to put it nicely. I had a black background in my shop at the time of the institution of the new sidebar, and my prices all became black...I could have been frozen for their stupid bug. They need to get the text color problem fixed. When they do, I'll be less irritated by the sidebars.
I've heard and seen proof, however, that they had political banners showing on occasion. Someone I know clicked one and was taken to a site which showed a photo of a mangled dead body. HIGHLY INAPPROPRIATE for a site with so many young children...

Well other than the one at halloween I have never seen any. I have been told that you need to be at a certian place at a certian time so I probably will never see one lol. I would have to say I would like them if they were not so hard to get.

The toolbar is a nice idea, but the ads annoy me ever so badly  Also, 'coz of the new toolbar, I had to re-do my user-lookup and shop

I loved the halloween theme toolbar, but the top banner is annoying, its extreamly annoying when its non-neopets related ad (ebay and that 'find your classmate' one)

the idea is way cool, and the toolbars themselves are even better, i hope to see more of them in the future  on a more negative note....the add, everyone hates it, what more can i say, but wahat more can TNT do without having to charge us?

I don't like them very much. They're nice, but the *regular* Neopets yellow sidebar has *at least for me* become their trademark...kind of.

I like the new themed sidebars at least the idea...but I'm finding them very hard to get or far more than I'm willing it spend...plus I don't like that you only have 24 (approx) hours before they are locked up tight...I guess I'll stay with boring yellow....
