I've kind of found two moves, I press kick, kick, punch, punch, kick, kick while pressing forward and you either do a roll or a spin move towards them.

really^^ but there are already combos that do that i think...arent the ones they give you to do that? any tips about getting that 3K needed for the av?

I hate when the meepet ducks and blocks and just stays there instead of getting up. I pretty much decided I don't like this kind of fighting. No purpose like battleling evil or a war. (Just little punks and bullies. Meepets and Feepets from the wrong side of the tracks)

Yes, let the other guy win 2 and continuously use the combo then you win the 3... Highest I've gotten is...3,144
Anyone know how to get above 3,400?? I can't for the life of me get past 3,100 roar

I got 3,221 with the regular strategy of letting the enemy win 2/5 rounds (make sure you beat him up almost all the way before you let him beat you!) When I did it I almost always used combos (if you have trouble with those, just hit Z and X in succession, SLOWLY...practice and you'll get it)--I THINK you get more points for combos, but not sure on that. I happened to win the first 2 rounds, lose 2, and win number 5, but I doubt that affects the score.

The scoring goes that the more times you hit the oponent, the more points you get. So if you win 2 matches, fight in another two but let the cpu win then you have more hits (then win the last match). Combos and special moves do earn you more points, and the truth makes the game easier as well.

I have to say, this game is so easy once you get the hang of the combos and all. I already got the avvie and I'm very proud of myself. It's actually the first game-avvie that I actually earned.
You'll have to lose two times and then win. That way, you will get to fight the Meepit/s five times instead of three times to get more points, so that you can get the avvie. At first, it was hard for me b/c I had no clue of what to do and how to get the combos, but I do now.
I agree with kobe0007. I, too, can't see how those people can get up to those hi-scores. Maybe it's luck or somethin'.

The only way that I can see that they got that high a score is that certain combos are worth more points than some others
