It can be very frustrating, I collect Tropical fruits, and their items, and my Gallery is always expanding, especially with gadgadsbogen gone now and the new fruits they brought out. But the thing that nnoys me, is when the few I need are owned by people who have abandoned their accounts. Take Mechaberries for example : 180,000np fruit on the trades, but 4 out of 5 of the accounts have not been accessed in the last 6 months, and the one I bid on, doesn't get replied to! Thats what makes it frustrating!

I figure that my gallery will never be complete...too many of the items are unbuyable. So I figure, why stress? If I find an aisha item I don't have (and can afford) I buy it, but otherwise I just enjoy looking at the pieces I do have.

Yes and no... I mean having a gallery would be pretty boring if you could collect every single item you wanted in the first week. What fun is that! Sure new stuff would come out, but still... 
Then again it is really annoying how expensive and rare some things are. I'm an upper-middle class neopian who has spent a few million NP on my Aisha Gallery, but I've bought almost everything I need for my gallery under 100K. One of the things I still need costs way over 13 million! It's like sheesh, unless I'm insanely rich I'll never complete my gallery.
Yeah the challenge is half the fun, but come on Neopets creators, give us all a break sometimes, huh? Do we really need all these new items nobody can afford but Neopia's rich and famous? The ones who are either NP making geniuses or have been a member since codestones were useless? 
Not that I'm saying they don't deserve their NP. (I'm as tired as anyone else of hearing people whine because they're jealous of everyone else.) Just make it a tad easier for the die-hard collector.

I'm making a cybunny gallery and while I have a good portion of the items, the ones left cost millions a piece! Well, most of them...

yes it is very very frustrating because i collect faerie items and it is hard to get some when the people that have them the cheapest accounts a disabled or frozen.And most of the items i need cost over 100,000 and are retired and people wants millions for them but i guess at the end it is worth it because then you can say that you have the best gallery of what ever you are collecting.

Yes, it is. I've always wanted to start a gallery or something, but whenever I think about doing that I get excited and then I realize that it costs a lot of NPs, 'cause you have to pay NPs to get more room in your shop, and you have to buy all the items-- it's just too hard for me!! Of course, it would be fun to start a gallery or collection of some kind, but it would be expensive and hard to finish.
Take slushies for example. I love collecting those things! But I never ever finish the collection because it costs way too many neopoints, and I don't want to create a whole new account for just that and earn neopoints for just that on that account, because I have over 2 accounts just floating around in space because I created a lot when I was 6. Or whatever age I was.
To clear up these last 2 paragraphs for you, yes, it is hard to finish a collection.
Also, sorry if this is too long. I love having my say in polls, and also I love typing!
