The beginning of this plot is somewhat like my own story that I am currently writing.

a couple of comments... not that i know more than anyoone else (probably much less) but... I don't think the missing qasalan tablet in the TCG deck is anything but a coincidence because of a misspelling. It's not "gone" it's just got a faulty url. If I remember correctly, the url ended with something like C110, but all other cards have CI - if you change the first 1 to an I you'll see the card.

Second, some people have commented about the different shapes of the missing pieces and them having different numbers and that this might mean something. Again, I don't think it's important: it's probably just a way to make the tablet more varied - after all there are at least 12 symbols and we all seem to miss about 8 or so pieces, so why would there only be three really missing?

anyhow... I think we'll probably need to wait for more plot parts and stuff to be able to make more sense out of it...

hey has anyone had a random event that shows a symbol and says that it was burnt onto the page, then the page refreshes in a few seconds?

just wondering if it had to do with the tablet that the fortune teller has with all the missing peices on it. oh well.

When I was in the tomb, I kept clicking on the empty black spaces, until I saw a yellow stone with a snake on it and no symbol above it, then when I clicked on it I was in the library, and I got to read one scroll.

Edit: People were saying this on the boards, no clue if someone has mentioned it here before. At least the beginning is right from the comic, lol.

The myth of the Lost Desert of Neopia began eight hundred years ago, when an evil prince schemed to wed the princess of Sakhmet. The ancient menace enters the castle of the present day King, insistent on marrying the young princess. Failing in this pursuit, he places an eternal curse on the city. Meanwhile, our two heroes follow the mad prince and uncover his magical lair, and thus embark on a quest for treasure and truth.

the scorned jazan returns to his kingdom telling his father how the princess insulted him. In return the king has her mindwashed/sends an army of dead people (which we'll fight/fight with in the war)

So far the second chapter seems to confirm that myth.

Well, I went into the tomb, and found a scroll but could't take it because there were gasses of some sort and it told me that I fell asleep or something... and I can't find any scrolls *Grr*
