Perhaps if you read a scroll with a symbol that isn't one of the ones you need, it doesn't accomplish anything? Interesting...

Either we have to do something else to obtain the scroll or there is a whole different thing going on with this tomb.

There are 4 pieces on the tablet when you first get it and 12 pieces missing. Not 8.
That is one of the things that everyone kept saying at the beginning was the 12 coincidense (Sp?).
12 pieces missing, 12 places on the explore map, 12 different scrolls, and if you look at the empty spaces on your tablet, you will see a number at the end (0,1,2)...those numbers when added together equal 12. For instance my tablet appears like this:
2 1 kha 2
djo 0 tep 0
1 2 0 2
nem 0 1 1
add all those numbers together and it equals 12...also, it turns out that there are 4-0's, 4-1's and 4-2's...
anyway..I tried to tell everyone that this is all a "red herring" at the beginning, but they kept going with it. Sorry if you all have seen all of this already. Just thought I would post it for those who have come in a little late.

That is probably a coincidence as my tablet contains two of the same symbols and hence won't contain all scrolls )and i beleive there's 13 scrolls anyway now)
