Lost Desert Plot Update - The first installment of our new storyline set in the Lost Desert is due to go live next week. You will start to see these strange scrolls around the site. Maybe you should think about holding on to them..
   
Scrolls eh? Looks like we're in for something at least slightly different this time.
Anyway this board is to discuss the lost desert plot and all updates about it.
Note: I shall be keeping all information about this plot on my pet page

The names of the scrolls are said on another board. I know the first word of each scroll. It is: set, ben, nem, djo.

Wow, thats a lot of questions. Firstly the first part of the plot (the first comic) will go live next week. You will be able to see every part of the story as they go live, the same way they last two plots worked.
The scrolls are part of something special we are doing with this plot. Basically rather than just having a war to decide who gets what, there will be many puzzles, many fights and some other challenges for you to do in order to earn points. The scrolls may be used in that, just as a hint, if you see one, hold on to it. I can't tell you more than that as I have already given away a lot  Just keep checking new features.
Quoted from the editorial. This soundsl ike it COULD be the best plot yet IF they handle it right (unlike last plot) Although I like wars there is an extent to the interestingness of it.
And note on the scroll names... those 'names' are gotten from the urls of the images so may not be the full names.

Many puzzles? I hope they're going to have some simpler ones for those of us who don't get these Lenny Conundrum-hardness ones (what happened to them saying how you got the answer anyway? That ended pretty quick.)
But something for everyone sounds really good, as long as they don't do that rank thing again. That was bad.

I am not good at Lenny Conuindrum, I hop they are easy and hard. I hope the games are easy if we have ti compete againest each other, it will be hard to get points, the challengers give no mercy.

Lol it did end quick lol.
Anyway usually it isn't lenny conundrum type puzzles. Dispite this theres always people blurting out on the neoboards anyway XD you may want to lookup up the last puzzle plot solutions to get an idea.

I don't THINK there's any Acaras involved in the plot, though if there are I'll be thrilled. I think I read someone else's writeup of what one of the Neopets magazines said and not an Acara in sight? Probably the Desert Aisha though.

If i'm correct the main charcters are a lupe (tomos), an ixi (Nabile), a kyrii (Prince Jazan), and aisha (princess amira) and possibly a fire faerie called Nuria.
These seem to be characters i've seen mentioned and ones most likely to be at least involved.

Many clues can be found by looking at the Lost Desert TCG checklist. Some cards hold clues.

From what I can gather from the TCG the plot involes the following points.
- Long ago an agreement was made for Prince Jazan and Princess Amira to marry.
- Prince Jazan returns (or appears I dunno lol) and demands them to be married.
- Prince Jazan seems to be from a place called Qasala (new desert map?) but quoted from a tcg 'The living had not set foot in Qasala for centuries, and quite frankly, the evil spirts were getting bored.' so it doesn't sound the NICEST of places
 so i'm sure any battles will be against this place.
- Elsewhere in the lost desert there is a gang called 'the desert scarabs' the ixi, Nabile, and the lupe, Tomos are both members. They are minor theives in Sahkmet and I'm sure they are involed SOMEHOW, and no doubt will end up heros. (this may include 'Megan' an aisha but it is hard to tell from the tcg)

They aren't serchable on the wiz so that may not be their names, you can't really be certain. As soon as they are searchable i'll update! You know what neopets can be like with name changing from url to item.

uh, quite interesting. i hope that tnt are mixing their bd wars with their mystery-type plots this time. and i hope they'll let us do whatever we want, not just chosing 1 way to earn points. so the gamers can score some points like the bders.
