Does anyone know for sure if the repository is being revealed for everyone, or if each player has to take away a certain number of handfuls of sand before they are able to view it for themselves? (For the record, I've taken maybe 6-7 handfuls of sand and I have the same "close to completely uncovering" message as alienatedduck has.)

Well I've uncovered 14 piles of sand exactly. So I presume its gone down for everybody if you've only done 6 or 7

The scroll repository has been completely uncovered. It stands gleaming in the sun. But... there doesn't seem to be any way inside. It looks like the engineers forgot to leave empty space for the scrolls!
Wow! The repository was buried under 104,034 handfuls of sand!
You! Take a 15 minute break!
The foreman actually grins for once. "Looks like we got the thing uncovered!" But the grin quickly turns to a scowl. "Too bad them stupid engineers didn't build the thing right in the first place. There ain't no space inside for scrolls! What kinda scroll repository do ya call that?!"

Does that mean there are only 104,034 'handful of sand' items? Will they become rare? I have 19 that i got digging out the pyramid
i bought one more at 5000 nps to make 20. The price is climbing high.
What is the Handful of Large Stones? Are we going to hollow out the pryamid?
Nope, the Handful of Large Stones is a 1-player - an Enraged Maraquan Mob Weapon

I don't know, but that's how I noticed something was happening--the price of Handful of Sand started creeping up. I knew I had better go check the repository. (The price started at about 1000NP when it first appeared and has been hovering around 500 and now it is suddenly back up to 5000.)

People were thinking:"There will propobly be tons more" but when it was all un-bured the people are propobly thinking:"The Scroll Repository is all un-bured so if i got tons of Handful of sand I will get tons of NP."
That's maybe why the price is rising

What the Fortune Teller says has changed slightly:
She calls out to you again as you turn to leave. "Oh! I almost forgot. A few of Princess Amira's ministers were outside the city when it... vanished. They're working on getting that scroll repository completed so that they can use it as a library, and try to figure out how to bring Sakhmet City back. I hear that the repository is way, way out in the middle of the lost desert."

Intresting fact: Assuming that each handfull of sand was taken by a single owner (this is not true, considering that diffent people took between 5 and 20), with the total owners in Neopia at 105,477,853, and the number of sand handfulls at 104,034, 0.09% of owners in neopia took a handfull of sand (this percentage is acutally less, due to the above fact). I was curious, that's quite a low percentage, I wonder, will handfulls of sand be used to redeem prizes at the gift shop of 1000 trinkets?
