Hey has anyone seen a stair case going up in the middle of the orange floor you can't get to them but I am on the 3rd floor now so there is at least 4 floors so far

I am seeing a ton of Nem, quite a few Ahns, and a couple Sets, but nothing else. Is that normal? If so, does anyone know why? On the up side, I'm seeing many pretty painted pets (most the people who have made it this far apparently have nice-looking pets  ). But I'd kind of like to find a block I can help move sometime before bedtime? (My symbol is Lat.)
EDIT: Susanargo, I believe I've seen the staircase. Some people are already burrowing into it from the "north" side down, and then probably west. Lousy Nems and Ahns. 
ONE MORE TIME: I'm mad for editing! OK, I've seen a few Teps and one Fer as well. And one Djo. Will edit even more when/if I see more symbols...I suppose they all technically exist, but I've only heard rumours of my symbol. 
FINAL EDIT I MEAN IT THIS TIME: So after about half an hour of surprisingly delightful time at the Neoboards, I was finally given directions to one of the very few Lat blocks. I missed out on a Jug with a Hole (I think is what it was called), but I'm just glad I at least SAW a Lat block; I was starting to think they didn't exist!

As far as I can tell, so far there are three levels uncovered. Very soon the pathway to the next lot of "up" stairs will be clear. As you go up, each level gets smaller - coz a pyramid does! I wonder what will happen at the top .....
edit: the next level is here ... it's almost small enough to fit on one screen!

Does this all mean I'm running around on the bottom level where everything is already cleared? Because I haven't seen a single symbol anywhere... 
EDIT: OK, I've mapped it out a bit and finally understood that you won't see the symbol until after you click on a block... But now what? We're waiting for two more pets, to join up. What can I do in the mean time? I guess I can't keep mapping? Can I keep an eye on how many pets have joined? *confused* erm nevermind.... I clicked the back to repository button and it sort of worked itself out lol

I was able to move two blocks before I had to go to bed last night. Good thing, too, because there seem to be ~20 blocks left and none that I could reach were my symbol. :P I wonder what comes next. (I'm guessing that anyone who has been lucky enough to get a scroll in a RE gets to turn it in to the completed Repository....)

Well, I'm waiting for the foreman to bludgeon me to death with that cudgel of his... I've found 5 ahns, 2 nems, 2 safs and 1 ben, but no teps in my second attempt. I don't like it at all that they started this part of the puzzle at midnight my time  It was way more than half-done when I woke up and now it's almost finished. *grumbles*
EDIT: make that 6 ahn symbols
EDIT AGAIN: Make that TEN ahn symbols. *really really grumpy now*

Ok, i seem to be hitting brick walls. Litterally!! There must be some bricks to haul away, or else the site would have clicked on to the next stage, but i can't seem to find any. Does anyone know if there are any left, and if so, where they are?

There are blocks left. I'm on the bottom floor, sort of center, right side. Lots of Nem's and Ben's here. Found a tep, but waiting for one more to join the group... To get here, from the staircase in the center of the floor, go "down" all the way, and then right, until the pyramid corner, then up a bit and left, then up and to the right side and possibly even better, the top right corner of the pyramid...
EDIT: Oohhh I won something! And I deserve it too after hunting for that block for about 2 hours! Anyway, I looked at the neopet chat boards and apparently there's a basement too, so still plenty of work left, it would seem. On the boards they said the stairway to basement was in upper right hand corner of the ground floor. I haven't mapped that area yet, so I can't verify it, but good luck

Yes, there is a basement, and the stairs *are* on the uppermost right corner of the ground floor.
*Finally* found a Set block. Missed out on a cute desert petpet. Looks like there's plenty of work to do down there still. Only an hour to wait...
