Yay yay yay yay! I found it allll by myself! *is exalted*
There are footprints on the lost desert map (top right corner) that lead to the repository. But I was thrown out again! I'm exalted anyway! lol
something's finally happening!
EDIT: I thought maybe reading a temple library scroll now, would make a difference, but it doesn't seem that way. So now I'm locked out from both the gate and the temple. Oh well

Well, I've now managed to determine that you're locked out for one hour. And now I'm locked out again lol
I tried the Anubis line first time, and lying about Royal consensus the second time. I guess what works is random? Although I hope not, because I never get things from such games as the Symol hole and other "random" things...

Maybe. And I wonder if we'll have to give an answer everytime we go there or if, once we've been accepted, we can get in any time we want. Of course, what's inside may not be interesting enough for us to wanna go there all the time, but still if we have to guess a random phrase everytime AND need to make many visits, it could get very frustrating...
EDIT: I paid a visit to the Neopets Boards, something I rarely do because it's hard to find anything sensible among all the not-so-sensible posts, but anyway, someone posted that your scroll title (the one with your Nuria's symbol on it) should match the thing you say to the guards. Worked for me, so I guess it's correct. However, I've only seen 7 of the options, so if you feel like it, please PM me with the exact phrases you get at the gate, if they're not among the ones listed below.

The triple-glazed window one cracks me up. :D Peculiar to see TNT spell Color without a "U"...are they losing their British touch? Or has it been localized to the US?

You have to go to the temple and read the scroll that has your symbol on it. As long as its the last scroll you read, your option will show up and let you in the site.

It seems that if you give the wrong answer to the guards, you're locked out for about 30 minutes, but once you've been let in, and you carry off a pile of sand you're kept out for a longer time. I'm not sure yet how long... I last got a pile of sand 2 hours ago and I still can't get back.

There is a rumor that how long it takes to be able to go back to the repository has to do with the speed of your pet. Anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 hours.
Lab ray just took 3 agility points from my fastest pet too...

i dont think that rumor is true because my pet has very low agility and gets back in 1 hour or less but you never know???

hmm since all my pets have their speed described as "lightning" I guess Neopian lightning bolts are uncommonly slow
That said, I'm sure my pets aren't the fastest around... the descriptions of pet abilities are kinda ... wierd...

I'm trying to get to the Repository, but it won't show my option. I have a Fer on my statue, but there's no "You guys should drink more water before you get heat stroke" option.
I know that you have to get the Fer Scroll from the Temple of 1,000 Tombs first, but mine will not reset. Everytime I visit, it automatically takes me back to the Statue. Anyone know what to do? I've already entered my prophecy, gotten Pile of Scarabs, and went back to the Fortune Teller.
It's already been a day and a half since I entered the prophecy first.

If you can, go back to the statue and enter the wrong prophecy. I realize that may not be an option for you, but if it is, it'll boot you out of the temple and you'll be able to get back in presently. If not, I have no idea; I remember being Scarabed for a pretty long time before it let me out, but not 36 hours...

Does anyone know for sure if the repository is being revealed for everyone, or if each player has to take away a certain number of handfuls of sand before they are able to view it for themselves? (For the record, I've taken maybe 6-7 handfuls of sand and I have the same "close to completely uncovering" message as alienatedduck has.)

The scroll repository has been completely uncovered. It stands gleaming in the sun. But... there doesn't seem to be any way inside. It looks like the engineers forgot to leave empty space for the scrolls!
Wow! The repository was buried under 104,034 handfuls of sand!
You! Take a 15 minute break!
The foreman actually grins for once. "Looks like we got the thing uncovered!" But the grin quickly turns to a scowl. "Too bad them stupid engineers didn't build the thing right in the first place. There ain't no space inside for scrolls! What kinda scroll repository do ya call that?!"
