What to do with the Useless crystals?

Now, I got the Useless Crystal? What do I do with it? I've tried reading through some of the stuff posted but so far I haven't figured it out yet... Anyone got some directions or ideas of how to work with it?

Thanks... I finally found the secret path thingy but now the room won't light up. All I got is a little glow around the city replica...no colors.. and I didn't realize I needed to mark the colors on the Useless Crystal.. does it ever show those that are at the top again?

I answered the Crystal thing in your other post in the other thread.

As for the room lighting up- it only lights up once every 8 hours for 1 hour at a time. So you will have to keep trying on the hour until you get your correct light-up time.
