179,300 points here too. I've bought the 1000 point items- except for keychains- from shops and was about to start on the more expensive ones when the site decided to stop loading. At this point I don't really know what I'll get with my points.
It sure was tempting to select one of the rings to sell immediately. There was a buying frenzy on the Battledome board with some amazing offers floating around. When I looked no one even knew what the battle stats are for the rings. The books were also in demand. What to do, what to do...

The plot was primarily about puzzle-solving. Unlike the Maraquan war plot, I don't think these points had anything to do with how many times you clobbered stuff in the Battledome. (I suspect they didn't have anything to do with how many blocks you moved, either...let alone how many pieces of furniture you moved, agh!)
Also, TNT apparently doesn't want to make any more wars that give people with strong pets the advantage when it comes to points; that's why the "ranks" were instituted in the first place. The days of taking potshots at the bad guys are over, I'm afraid.
(Summer, SOME people are buying up the rings now, while they're not activated; they're gambling that the rings will be awesome BD items and go up dramatically in price. That's the most likely thing to happen IMO, but they could just be defensive items and almost useless. Or they could be awesome defensive items, or mediocre offensive items. Who knows?)
EDIT: Wyndriel, I'm not an expert, but as far as I know, the books are almost guaranteed to go up in value, and will increase more, the more you wait....on the down side, it could require patience to get the best price.

I earned 22,800 points, quite surprising honestly since I didn't do as much as some others. I am not sure what I am going to buy either.

I think I'm going to get 2 Anubis Tox books, 1 to keep and one to sell after the price goes up. And I'd have enough left over for a Nabile plushie.

Ahhh! I want both the rings... But I only have 179,300 points...
Which to choose... Which to choose...
I'll get the dark one, you get the red and yellow one and we can swap em out when we like :P
I have 164,300 points as I didn't move any blocks or sand, and very little furniture. I left it to the peasants and all...
I have to have the Nabile plushie as it mentions the word TATTOO!!! and I like the gelatin blob with its cute skull, and that darker ring, lovely, but I don't want to rush, so I'm debating.
So I'm a Scroll Specialist:
Pretty pretty!
My only complaint, apart from the time it took, is that the Qasalan sidebar only has the words when you're moving your moving your mouse over it... kind of annoying. And I haven't seen Jazan on it yet...

I bailed out of the puzzle early because it was so infernally boring ... so I've got 23,800 points. That doesn't leave me many good options. I'll probably get the club and a few of the 1k items.

The shopkeeper flips through a sheaf of papers. It's a GIANT list of names. Finally, she finds your name. "Let's see... it looks like you have 149,300 points left to spend. Here's what we've got."
Just off the top prize XD Grr.. Not sure whether to go with Ring or Books though... not until the weapons do something XD

Dune Explorer 47,800 points
I really do wish I'd finished it now. I would have desperately loved one of those rings. As it is, I've gotten one of the crystal balls, and I'll probably get a book and Nabile plushie next.
