Qasalan Archaeologist (189,300 points)
(I think my trophy is ugly, number 3 is my favorite.)
Moved 7 piles of sand, 1 Block and... ...100 pieces of furniture which really should count for some points because that was just hellish.
Did not complete 3 parts of the plot.
Haven't decided what to spend my points on yet.
Overall I think they did a nice job on the prizes. Although none of the higher up prizes are really anything I'd want to keep. My favorites are all the different key rings and the Useful Crystal.
I am disappointed that there is no petpet for a prize and filling up a prize slot with such a lame prize as a Handful of Sand is well, really lame.
Question: Does anyone have a Neohome or know of one that has the Handy Spiked Trap and Stylish Scroll Rack in it?
I'd like to see what they look like in case I decide to buy.

I'll get the dark one, you get the red and yellow one and we can swap em out when we like :P
I have 164,300 points as I didn't move any blocks or sand, and very little furniture. I left it to the peasants and all...
Well, since IDB has managed to attain stats for the rings, it makes me want to lean towards getting the Ring of the Lost, so ties in perfectly with your wishes, Gooly.
I didn't move any blocks at all- I was away when that part was being done, and only moved 3 bits of sand. However it says on the plot breakdown page that moving sand and blocks didn't count towards your score.
I think I'm going to have to do what the__maker_ did and buy the Wedding Ring. Though I don't like spending that much on something, in this case it is probably worth it.
Well then! Problem solved
I spose I will go buy my wedding ring and get it over with. Got Nabile and Blob... will have about 53k left over to do something with... dunno what though.

Calvinorion, you got 10,000 more points than me (and I only missed *2* parts of the plot). So SOMETHING you did counted; either you beat Razul in a better way (I drew with him), or else, maybe furniture did have a modest effect. (I know Sand and Blocks don't count, but I have more sand and the same number of blocks, or block as the case may be.)

I counted 32 steps to the plot. Is that all of them?
I got the same points as you Taradith, and I think I did *all* the steps, though I did not complete them very quickly. And I hardly moved any furniture at all, less than ten.
I remember how hard Calvinorion was working at moving furniture. It *has* to have counted... Bravo!

You know, I moved furniture and I don't think it showed up at all.
I think the difference in points is due either moving stuff or, more likely, due to a difference in when steps were completed. I think TNT said something about earlier being better but late still being okay. (Or maybe my memory is making that up?)
EDIT: I'm currently attempting a trade for the Toxicology Reports. *fingers crossed*

I finally decided. Got the books, just to keep them around for now. I guess if I get the rings, it'll be later.

I drew with Razul as well, so it wasn't that and It wasn't the furniture either sadly.

This is what they are saying over at PPT as well. That there were speed bonuses and that those bonuses were worth 5,000 points each. So I think I must of got some of those as I did do all of the plot parts in "real time" from the very get go, and did them as fast as was possible for me.
jemaime77 - you did indeed complete all of the steps. If you use this link, http://www.neopets.com/desert/ldp/ldp_stats.phtml?showuser= you can look at anyone's score page, just add their username to the end of it. If a step is incomplete then it will be greyed out.
By the way, if anybody else was curious you can see a Stylish Scroll Rack in a neohome here. And a Handy Spiked Trap here.
One other thing I wanted to say, I found TNT's rational for not giving points for Sand/Block moving a bit odd:
Quote:
TNT wrote: "Because of time-zone differences, not everyone had a chance to participate in these events, so they were not counted in the final tally."
Sand moving went on for 2 or 3 days and Block moving lasted exactly 24 hours. So everybody in all time zones had an equal chance in that regard. And furniture moving, that went on for weeks didn't it? Sure felt like it.
As for this quote,
Quote:
TNT wrote: "We've been told that furniture mover statistics were stolen shortly after they were tabulated."
I think they just screwed up. They certainly meant to keep track of it and maybe include it in the final score as well but something went wrong and they lost all the info they had. Could be why it took them so long to come out with the prizes in the first place.

I only had a 1,000 points so I got a ben key ring. It was the only 1,000 point prize I really liked. I probably could have done more to earn points put I kept getting lost in the temple. went round and round in circles forever.
