Re: books, long-term, they'll almost certainly go up in value; the only way they wouldn't is if TNT released more of them, and though they're evil, I can't see even THEM doing that. Short-term, it's possible the price will go down as more people get them, though I don't think that's terribly likely. If you need the NP now for whatever reason, I suggest sell; otherwise, wait...it's not like you spent anything for it (just points) so you're not actually out anything if you have to wait a few months to turn a better profit.

Probably a good idea. I'm just extremely impatient and getting low on np (one expensive gift + one bad purchase = me being skint). Meh, I can wait. *sits and waits*

Medinaquirin, as Tardith said the price of Retired items will never plummet. Specially plot prizes. The more you wait to sell it (months or years) the more profit you make.

I finally got my stuff:) I had enough for the Ring of the Lost, which made me really happy. since I got that however, I didn't have enough LDP points to purchase all the plushies there were (I needed them for my gallery!) so I had to buy those with NPs. I'm still pretty happy about the whole deal anyway though.
