Sometimes I post a message and it doesn't appear. I do see that I should be the last one that posted when I look at the index, but when I try to read the message itself I can only see the message before it. When someone else posts after me my post also appears. Often this happens at the edge of a new page in a topic. It doesn't apply to my posts only; for example, now Briselle should be the last one to have replied in the "Recent Random Events" topic but the last reply I can see is from ChocolateFairy. I know a couple of this cases may have to do with the private moderation thing, but I think I'm not in private moderation (at least, I don't know I am  ).

It's a glitch that has been going on for a while on the boards. The only way to cure it, essentially, is to view all or wait for someone else to post.

Playing with the number of posts per page sometimes helps (thanks Summernight for the tip).
I'm current set at 25 per page and rarely hit the glitch anymore. If I do, I temporarily change my settings to 20 or 30.

I think mine is the bog standard 10, but that tip sounds good.

Yeah. I have mine set to 50. Most of the time it seems to do the trick.
