I've got a method you can use. Go to a plot guide, look for the constellation you need to get, then take a piece of paper or a post-it note and a pen or pencil, put the paper or note over the constellation (this may not work for some computers), and trace it. That helped me find the Dreamer, and then the First to Rise in under five minutes.

Heylo. I am having trouble finding the second constellation (the one in the clouds) and..ja. Do I need to make one of those complicated star map thingies or can I just do what Kaetyn2 just advised, and trace it and look for it on my own? o.0

I had a TERRIBLE time on the second constellation. I looked at my star map on Boomspeed, I traced the design and looked for it, and just plain looked around for HOURS. I finally had to ask on the Neoboards (I didn't want the full coordinates, just the area). There should also be links somewhere around here to a page that gives the full coordinates of multiple constellations, though I don't want to use it unless I'm totally stumped.
(And I found the First to Rise in maybe 15 minutes on my own, so I don't know what it was about that stupid Dreamer.)
I believe http://boomspeed.com/zaniam/theSky.html is still working (my pathetic browser is too busy to run Flash right now :P ). If so, instant star map! Last I saw, the guide for the Dreamer was up too, and that helps quite a bit. (The constellation guide for the Dreamer wasn't up when I was having so much trouble.)

Still working on my first one... I have had a friend help me who has found hers and helped many others with theirs...but to no avail...I fear I have a worm hole instead of a constelation....bleh I refuse to give up but with the same coordinate numbers everday, no change seems to be forthcoming.... *very frustrated she be*

Er...has anyone found out how to find the clues for the Dancer constellation? I've found it, but it won't submit because I haven't found a version somewhere in Altador... like on the tomb or in the clouds. oh, well. I was off the computer for a few days, but I caught up... maybe a little too much! Oh well, back to waiting... oh, anybody want to compare their starmap to mine? I just want to see...

I think you have to look through the window behind a certain statue in order to get that clue, if it's the one I'm thinking about.

I think the little disclaimer about "star drift" below the telescope image means that you won't have a correct star map until you go through the clues to activate it. I don't think the Dancer is really available yet.
I got so mad looking for "First to Rise" I almost had to invoke the LKT*. I had found one formation that was absolutely perfect fit for five stars but the sixth was missing. I wanted to tear my hair out.
*LKT: "Lost Key Theory" wherein as soon as you ask someone to help you find your lost keys, you find them yourself. I'm sure you know other variants of this. ;) Worked, too. I was just about to post my star coordinates over here so someone might help me find it in boomspeed when I finally dragged the template over the right area.
