Those of you who have found The First to Rise, why do you think the club president is mad?
Think he's jealous? Or maybe he's really EVIL!
So what do you think?

I figured he was jealous. I wonder if anything will come of it. (I'd like to let him find a constellation for once. As long as it's not the Gatherer; that one is MINE.  )

He was excited the last two times. No one in his club had ever found two constellation before. I think that he is jealous that his newest member has found three constellation now. I don't even think he has found that many. He has probably only found one, if that.

He's probably just jealous.
I think that was planned, but now we're out of faeires. I think that, since the janitor seems to always give the next clue, it will either be Marak the Wave since he has to "wash" the windows. ^_^

well if the janitor always gives the next clue then i think it would be florin the farmer because he asks if we live in a barn... or could that be too obvious?

Good call on that one! I never thought of that.
I think that perhaps as the plot goes along, by the time we find all the constalations, that will signify the release of the darkest faerie. By then the club president will be so jelous he will toss us out of the club, and then one of the other clubs will let us in, hence moving the plot onwards.

Maybe I'm missing something but nothing the Janitor has ever said before has ever hinted to what was coming next.

Sounds like a unverified theory to me. One based on conjuncture and someone looking for evidence to prove a guess the have made.

He has to clean the windowsills because you either leaned on them to look at the walkway beyond (so you could see the lights on the path) or you actually climbed out of the window. (Must have been a long way down if you did that though....)

First to Rise - This one actually directly related to light and would, in turn, lead you to find the light that shows you the First to Rise that shows you the Light Faerie.
So, if you sit there and think about it for a little while, the janitor drops hints at the identity of the next constellation. That's why it makes it a possibility for the next one to be the Farmer or the Wave. See the logic?

Listening/reading your arguement I stand firmly by my answer of random conjecture which is made up and choosen to prove a theory someone wanted proven.
You need time to do anything i life. Not just sleep. How does that not equate to first to rise? cause you need to be up in time to do all that. You need time to farm. You need time to do everything. That proves nothing.
Dreaming is not wasteful. If you don't dream you don't aim for something new. dreams decide our destiny as it gives us hope. It was the dreams of one man that led to emancipation. To reffer to dreaming also ignores the theory that drems are the subconcious reparing damaged brain cells just liek giveing the body a workout.
anmd his final comment which you equate to the first to rise is obviously about further along int he plot figuring out what this all means. The fact that it reffers to the lights is obviously a coincidence since everything else is circumstantial.
the Janitor obviously plays the same role as a Dame in panto. For comedic value only. I'm sure that even if it is someone else that the clues lead to that someone will find a way to prove it reffers to that thing anyway so it doesn't matter.

I agree that the previous ones seemed a little too subtle, however, with the new constellation being the farmer, the reference to being raised in a barn seems to relate.
Now, the new janitor comment is:

Now I'm not sure if they give clues or not, but with this one, if it were taken to mean something, what would it be? What are we doing in the observatory? Gathering constellations? Collecting constellations?
If this is so, then the next one will either be Fauna or Gordos. But, as Alchemist says, it could merely be that with whatever the Janitor says, someone will be able to link it to the next constellation when it is found via an obscure something or other.

You and I are thinking of dreaming in a different sense. I don't think that dreams you have every night are necessary to life at all. Otherwise people would have them all the time. Though I must agree that dreams to aspire are, that's not the impression I get when I see the Dreamer.
And I highly doubt that Neopets would put something that so obviously relates to the next clue and then it happen to be coincidental. While they do make mistakes sometimes, they are in general very bright people.
We'll just have to watch to see how the janitor relates in all of this or if he's simply someone they stuck in to guard the button.

The janitor theory is interesting... I would have never thought of it.
Why is the janitor still by the button if he doesn't need to guard it anymore?
The President of the club seems to get madder and madder each constellation. by the 12th (yes, there should be twelve, right?) he might end up doing something interesting...

I heard somewhere that the dark fairy was good untill the other two faeries got her kicked out of Altador, she was so mad that she tryed to kill them. the queen fairy stoped her by turning her to stone.

D00d. He's probably just jealous. Wouldn't you be upset if you were president of an astronomy club, and some random guy just waltzes in and steals all the glory by finding more constellations than any of your members put together?
