Does anyone know how to take leftovers home from kelp? I went there quite a few times but I still can't get a leftover. If anyone of you know how to do it, please post it here. Thanks!!!

I've also heard it's a random one. The only time I actually got into the restaurant, I spent quite a bit and thought I'd surely be filling up my pet - but alas, no leftovers. Can't afford to go now, but perhaps I'll be able to try again in the distant future...

i don't know, i think you should just skip this avie. i got in like, what, 20+ times and all in a row, and STILL no leftovers. i am now flat broke.

Someone suggested on these message boards that it was more likely to get leftovers if you bought all four foods. I did it twice and the second time I got succulent cheese dip left over. I'm thrilled. It was 150K approximately, but it's done.
btw, I did it twice in a row, which I think may have helped.

The best method to get this avie is to feed your pets until very bloated, go to Kelp, a buy a few things, depending on how much you want to spend, and then eat. If you get lucky, you will get leftovers. The avie is a ranodom event when you take home leftovers...

I used Avatarlog's guide and spent 200k, and no luck, I didnt get the avatar, so just be prepared to not get the avatar if you use their strategy.

It's a random avatar, so certainly it will taken longer for some than others. I spent 700k in Kelp before I got the avatar, and from my own personal experience (and several friends', to whom I recommended the strategy), consecutive full meals worked much more effectively than stray ones. Better luck next time, though

Has anyone like calculated the game mechanics behind Kelp?
I suppose it might be a formula with a "random number" at the end, but a few numbers in front may affect the result.
I mean, MAYBE a formula that looks something like:
Hunger level x food value x random
When hunger level may be a number between 1~10 (how many hunger status is there in neopets?)
Food value may depend on the food's weight.
Random may be a percentage between 80%~100%
If answer is a number more than ... no leftover
If answer is less than ... have leftovers
I ask this, coz each game has to have a formula for each event to make the programming work.
And knowing the formula, people can deduce the solutions to it.
I lost 60k today by the way...

Programs do not have to have a set formula in order to be written... all TNT would have to do is connect it to a random number generator and write into the program "if you get a 5 you get the avatar, otherwise you don't"...

Does Kelp even work still? I constantly go there, click on a food in every catagory, but when I go to "eat", it says I haven't clicked on anything.
