Ok I found 8 faerie abilities that are great, but I can only use 7, which one do you think should go?

Burrow and Sink are a must. Quench/Steam Shield/Water Breathing are useful if you plan on running into those particular icons (ie. in 1-player fighting) Drain Life is okay, I personally don't use it much. Diamond Dust is good for 1-player double freeze, but it's not reliable for 2-player use.

Keep diamond dust and drain life. What I'd do is rotate Steam Shield, Water Breathing, and Quench depending on the opponent. That said, if you have a leaf shield equipped and have decent defence stats, you won't need Water Breathing. More over, water is not as common in 2-P as fire or light.

ok now it's beetween regeneration and drain life.
regeneration gives pet 30% health back, but after it has to rely on its attacks to win
drain life gives 11% to pet, but takes that away from opponent, then pet must rely on attacks to win
So which is better you think?

I don't fight many 2-players.. so I would go for Diamond Dust.. you could change them before going to any fight right..?

ok thanks I will not use drain life. yes you can change them, but I would rather get to know the 7 abilities well, so I can become a better battledome fighter.
One more question, if you put a pet in the pound and it has an ability, does it loose it?

No. Once they have learnt them they won't lose them.
