Just follow the instructions in this thread to add an avatar to your posts. You can also reach the Personal Information Edit page by clicking on My Home >>  Edit (first link under Main Configuation).

The best way to inform us of mistakes in the item database is posting in the Items forum.
Where is My Collection? When will that feature come back?
The My Collection feature is offline until it is fixed to work with the new database system  There is so far no estimate as to the date when it will be coming back, but please be patient!

To create a new thread (that's what a topic is called), go to any forum (such as General Chat or Items Items Items, etc.) and look for the button towards the right hand side that looks like this:  Post
Why was my avatar/signature cleared?
Any image containing Neopets that is not directly located on their server (http://images.neopets.com) is not allowed here, by request of Neopets in this thread. This means that:
- Hand-drawn images of Neopets = not allowed
- Original works with any Neopet character in them = not allowed
- An image from Neopets.com cropped, text added, or any other edits made = not allowed
- An image from Neopets with the URL http://images.neopets.com/blahblah.gif = allowed!
What is a locked post? Why can't I reply?
A locked post has this icon next to it:  , signifying that the post can no longer to replied to. A post is usually locked because:
a) it is breaking one or more of the forum rules
b) the subject is no longer relevent (such as an old post, or an already-sold item)
c) the user has requested it to be locked
d) the question in the first post has been answered
How do I get a title or a special status under my name?
Only past and present staff of NeoItems can have a specified title. You cannot change it yourself.
Who is member number 1, since Webmaster is member #2?

Does this site know anything about the Blue Grundo plushie/tdmbgpop in Faerieland???
If you do a search in our General forum (where Neopet related topics go), you'll find a few threads already about this The plushie was a part of a former NeoPets plot that was cancelled, but NeoPets did not remove the plushie from Faerieland. As far as we know, it has no effect and does absolutely nothing.
