This is driving me round the bend! I made part 4 up, it fitted all the guidelines, I threw it in the cauldron... and it didn't work!  So I'm trying it through again and I dunno what I'll do if it doesn't work this time either  Edit: It worked!!! Hurrrah! But I got Platinum Mist as an ingredient next, and it hasn't been discovered yet so I can't get any further yet *twiddles thumbs*
I've been using Laoran_Flare 's guide mostly and if you go look at this petpage it has all the formulae you could ever need to help you get it spot on!
There is also this petpage which lists what to do for every step and is very thorough!

Well, I spend two days on level two---and I think I'm gonna give up. *dies* My cauldron bubbled over. >_< Why couldn't there be an easier way to do this?

Just take out a calculator and lay it in front of you and everytime you stop the action, then add it in into the calculation to see which ones need to be tweaked.
Or, eg if you need 70 Conjuring, and you have to use 3 ingredients, then get all three ingredient to about 70 Conjuring each, then you don't needto calculate.
I find that eg, if she want 70 +/- 2 Conjuring, stopping it at 68 or 72 and throwing it into the couldron deosn't work, maybe its just me...

Luckily I got asked to make Ice Plasma, so I've finished that part of the plot. *wipes her brow*
I found the_cenial_one and CountCrankaroo were a wonderful help.
I'm just exceedingly annoyed with the battledome- if that lag hadn't been so bad I would have annihilated those first opponents. But as it is I had to make do with beating the third round ones a few times. 
On the bright side one of the third rounders uses a completely dark offensive weapon and my Ring of the Lost blocks all dark, so to see him throw everything he's got at me and have 0 Hps damage makes me feel good.

Because of the Battledome I've thought of giving up the plot.. Thankfully the logic part came back.. I'm on day three in the lab.. ..

I am on making part 3 second composite.... it's hard.... but I will keep on trying.
failed 3 times already (one time pressed the wrong choice, two times I burn it 1 point too long....) it's very tricky... but I will keep on trying... So should everyone else! keep on trying!! Don't give up just yet!
I followed the guides which Seren's using. I am sure I will need summernight's guide very soon... :D

leader_monique, I were nearly the same situation as yours too... but the difference is I have been lazy and been watching closely at any news about a tour in the last 2 days.

I have done everything but the last potion >.> she just had to ask me to get Platinum Mist  lol so now I am trying to figure it out. If I get lucky and manage to either make it on my own or find it. I will post it here.

OK, I've followed all plot advice and every time, I get a bubbled over pot. Anyone got a clue what's going wrong?

Well, I just got back from vacation. I left on November 2nd. So, I've missed quite a lot. I can't find anyone left in the battledome to fight. I guess I've missed that part. I'm off to Sophie's lab. Hopefully it won't take me days. The posts above certainly have me scared though. Wish me luck.
