Just for your information -- the 80 cup souvenirs are in the database as searchable. They don't have their correct names, descriptions or rarities yet. There were so many of them that we have to add them piecemeal.
In the meantime, of course, they are searchable at Neopets.

Since the thread is asking if we found any MIA's or errors, can we also submit updates fon the estimated value of items? I could use the SSW to find the current prices of common items (at the rate of about 10 items per hour, LOL). That is, of course, if TNT allows that sort of thing.

The estimated value is an automated thing. Check out the threat "Neoitems partners with ImproveNeo" at the top of the General Neopets Chat forum to see how that works.
What we're looking for here are things that need to be added to or changed in the database -- new items that weren't announced in the News, missing descriptions from items that are rarity 99+ (the others we will find in Search Neopets), typos that we made or that Neopets fixed and, most of all, ID #s for items we have in as "searchable," "unsearchable" "unannounced," etc. Without the ID number, an item cannot be moved to "active."
Right now, my favorite typo that Neopets made is for the Quiggle Veggie Soup -- A healthy soup that is completly vegitarian and served in an adorable Quiggle bowl.

It looks like the creator of the ImproveNeo site has told people to stop using his automated script, and so many of the prices on ImproveNeo (and this site) are becoming more innacurate by the day.
Maybe we could set up some way (either on this thread or through the use of a Wiki or something) where people could manually type in the data they get from the SSW so we could 1) keep the estimated prices on this site up-to-date and 2) not get anyone banned for using an automated script.

The problem with that is that the prices change multiple times through the day and has to be changed every day, at the moment only about 10 people, including myself, have acces to the database and even then it is limited. Only Poeia and Webbie have complete and total access. This is why we may be a couple of days off sometimes, because only two people can add items. So estimated prices for 20 000+ items would be rather difficult to maintain.

Oh wow, that is a problem. To be honest, I'm surprised neoitems has done as well as it has, given the limited resources at your disposal (not to mention the fact that all 10 of the people you mentioned have lives outside of NeoItems).
I would seem that out of all the data you collect on items (names, descriptions, categories, status', etc.) the price of items fluctuates the most by far. I can think of a couple of possible ways in which we could keep up with the changing prices without adding to the workload of the current admins.
The first idea is that we could set up a Wiki, where anyone could update the current price of an item. People wouldn't have any access to any other part of the item database, just the estimated prices, which they could update several times a day. The problem with this idea, of course, would be that people could really mess things up if they wanted to (just like on the real Wikipedia).
The second idea is that you could assign trusted members of the site to be 'price-admins' who are given the ability to change the prices of items, but not anything else. Personally, I’d love to do this since I use the SSW several times a day and it feels like such a waste to keep all of the data I get to myself. Of course, I'm not exactly a 'trusted' member of the site yet (LOL, this is only my fifth post, for heaven's sake) but I hope to become one in the future.
Anyway, thanks for letting me add my two cents. Regardless of what happens, I hope something is done to take the strain off of the 10 people who have to manage this site all by themselves.

Aswell as the problem of maintaining it though, it would also mean the the entire database would have to be recoded to allow for it to be edited by everyone...and to add an extra field so the price can be changed manually...
And even if we did have a group of ten people or so...thats still 2000 items a day each - which is ridiculous! I think it would probably end up like the old price lists forum...where everyone was dead enthusiastic about it at first...and then the interest kinda dropped...
That was the beauty of ImproveNeo...nobody actually had to look up the prices..they were added automatically every time anyone serched on the wiz!

Even with only two of us able to add new images or change status (e.g. unsearchable to searchable), there are plenty of times when we end up with duplicates in the DB. If all the moderators and item hunters could do it we'd have havoc -- 4 of some things and none of others.
But the best argument for not doing something like you suggest is that Webbie has set up the site just the way she wants it. While the prices from ImproveNeo have been a great little bonus, they really aren't what this site was designed to do.

Lava Rock, found it while searching 'active' items, checked IDB, says it's not available to the players, tried searching for the item in neopets, couldnt search,
hope this helps a bit!
