We can't pull the ID # from someone else's gallery. Only the gallery owner can.

It's easiest if you put the item in your SDB for a minute and do it that way. But it can be done in your gallery.

how do you figure out the id # of an item? I'm working on a petpage that lists the names of the new plushies that come out. I know some aren't released yet... but I was just wondering how you guys find items besides searching tp, auction, shop, or gallery. I just want to make sure the item names I'm using are correct.

You got it right there - our main method is finding lower rarity items through user shops. We use trades and galleries for rarer items and neomail those owners asking to get to IDs.

The names we have in the database are correct, unless the item has been changed/updated in which case it would be awesome if you let us know if we have any errors.

Ceremonial Shenkuu Warrior Shinai
It's been out for a while, only available from the Ceremonial Shenkuu Warrior Superpack at the NC Mall, but I noticed that it wasn't in the MIA.

It (and most of the NC Mall stuff) is listed as "Unobtainable". We have the ID numbers for them because the IDs can be gotten if you try them on in the Mall. Here is the search, if you like. Until Webbie gets back and decides what she wants to do with them, all Mall items will be classified this way (or that's what I understand at this point in time).

Purple Sludgy

Anyone ever noticed that all different painted Sludgies have different item descriptions? (they messed up on the Sketch Sludgy and gave that the same description as the Plushie one though)

Having said that, I noticed the description on almost all of the Sludgies in the item database is wrong!
Please correct:
- Pink Sludgy (database says it's spotted)
- Green Sludgy (database says it's spotted)
- Cloud Sludgy (database says it's spotted)
- Snow Sludgy (database says it's brown)
- Plushie Sludgy (database says it's brown)
Also note that the Purple Sludgy in the MIA has a wrong description (it should say "purple" instead of "spotted").
Sludgy, Spotted Sludgy and Sketch Sludgy's descriptions are correct in the database.

Wow, nice observation Endymion. For all petpets it's assumed that the descriptions don't vary between regular and painted versions because we've never found one that doesn't fit the rule up to now. Makes me wonder if there's any others that are different, uh oh.
Saying that, looks like Neopets itself got one wrong too - the sketch is described as "soft" just like the plushie, lol.
Thanks a lot and I'll get that cleared up right now (and the purple will be added next update)!
