The prizes have arrived!
      #451470 - 01/03/2007 19:58

Go forth!

http://www.neopets.com/halloween/hwp/shack.phtml

Okay, so I had 26,000 odd points and quickly purchased a ghost paint brush for my Kyrii. Perfectly grand.

And everything else I bought is listed in in MIA section of Items, Items, Items. Still got 10k worth of points but I got what I really wanted. More stuff for the graveyard gallery.

And an avatar and sidebar, and spiffy trophy.

I got 26,070. I'm not sure what to get. I have a Ghost pet already. I might get a weapon, and I want all the books. I usually end up buying extras of the stuff I like anyway. I'm taking my time, to see what items are the best buys. I'm picky.

I still have most of my Altador cup points to spend too.

I still have Altador points and Lost Desert ones. Not that I can ever find the prize shops.

I think I had about as many as you Nynaeve, maybe a few points more.

I'm debating the Hammer and Asylum door. I'd still have about 2k worth of points left if I did get them. I can wait though.

Sidebars quite nice, avatar could have been a bit more interesting. The icons for the sidebar are pretty boring, mind you.

I found the Altador cup prize page. http://neopets.com/altador/colosseum/prizes.phtml
I finally cashed in my prizes for that, the Colossum stamp and a Yooyu, and keychains. I can find the LDP one if you need that one too.

I'm very happy with my points, we did good to get that many. I have my eye on the shadow hammer too. I've heard that the lampost is not a good weapon in the BD. I like the door, by not usefull for me. My Neohome is empty. I love the plushies though, I want the Illere one. I'll probably just buy the cheaper items I want, and wait to see what ones are the most expensive in a few months before cashing in too.

Just found Altador one, looking for the Lost Desert one now. Thank you.

I have 23 points left over in the Altador one and 51.3k in the Lost Desert one. I may just see what's going for the most money and get it and sell it off Not that I know how much these things are really worth...

Mmmm, I like letting left over points fester. Just very excited with the Ghost p/b. I can afford all the p/b's I want but I'm so stingy with my moneys. Could complete a lot of my galleries too, but again, dead stingy

These prizes seem much better than the Altador Cup ones, very dark and some a wee bit scary.

Lol, I'm stingy too. And cheap. I usually only spend my points on the prizes. I still have all my Adam avy NP. I'm still hoarding them for some reason. This gives me a reson to spend some.

Love these prizes! No petpet though, I always want petpets. You're right, the spookiness of them is great. the door's description makes me laugh. Good luck selling your LDP prizes.

Very nice new paint job Gooly! I like the matching petpet too.

My points just went up, from 26,070 to 27,445. People on the Neopets boards have been syaing they've been downgraded, Weird.

Hmm, I'm going to wait and see the stats, then probably invest in the battledome weapons, if they're good! If they're not, then it's probably furniture and such. I do so love plot reward time...

My points are currently 32,970 and I have no idea what's up with that; I didn't think I worked THAT hard. Maybe digging up graves/etc. didn't count for anything, because I didn't do that. I will definitely have to obtain a couple Mysterious Potted Flowers (one for the Nurse Lucy Memorial Garden and one for my gallery)--but I may save my points and buy them secondhand; I'll wait and see. Probably also 1-2 of the Sanitorium Book and the Rusty Doors. (My Plushie Acara Nillaray is morbid and would love them.) The Nurse Skeleton Bobblehead....not so sure how my gallery would like one of those, but I guess for completeness....

I love the reasonably priced Ghost PB, but don't need a Ghost pet so I'm not sure if I'll get one or not.

I'm not loving the sidebar, but then, no Acara on it (just as well; I don't want an Acara skeleton) so I wouldn't use it anyway.

(I do still have 3,300 LDP points; thanks for the link! And 105 Altador Cup points...)

I got 27,490 points. I didn't realise I'd done that much. I missed out on much of the potion making and grave-digging.

I think I'm going to let these points stew for a while. They can join the Altador, LDP and Curse of Maraqua points I've yet to spend. LOL

I'll probably get some of the battledome items, if they are any good.

The sidebar does have a skeleton acara with a flower on it. Which I found slightly disturbing.

I participated in every part of the obnoxious plot, but the bone testing I never got round to, maybe you got a lot of points for that?

I've now realised how nice the Ghost Hissi is and realise it is one of the few Hissi colours I like, would work nicely for ForsakenNation, but I'm really not sure.

I've ended up bookmarking the prize pages where I still have points.

Any news on the usefulness of the battle weapons available? Apart from the street lamp that is.

Hmm. Neovian Citizen. 26,365 points. And I missed the digging and bone testing and the like. I guess the little bit of battledoming I did helped my score along.

I've grabbed the three things I *really* like in this, the potted flower, potion cabinet, and the Ilere plushie, and I've still got 15,000 some-odd points to spend. Don't know what else to get, really. I suppose I'll wait for some BD info, Enduun could use a good weapon.

I may just be a little jaded due to the wait time, but the prizes this time around don't really seem all that thrilling. But then I was hoping for something a bit prettier in the potion department (oddly enough, I had my heart set on a mortar and pestle or something along the lines of one of the potion ingredients. I know, I'm weird).

Neovian Citizen here Got myself 28,240 points... means there'll be some I can't use They really ought to calculate it so there's enough prizes to use up all the points you're given, like those 10(?) point prizes from an earlier plot.

I'm intrigued to see how they've calculated it, especially since Taradith got such a huge amount of points, and didn't actually take part in several sections! Perhaps they've awarded bonus points for having good morals?

I think I shall be waiting to see what's best to get, this is my first completed plot, so it's fun to have the option to buy the most expensive item and not just get stuck with the keyrings! I do like the look of the Talking Tombstone Alarm Clock, Mysterious Potted Flower and Spirit of Slumber Plushie though! Where exactly did that "Mysterious Potted Flower" come into the storyline though, did I miss something?

The sidebar is pretty awesome! Not sure if it'll replace my Altadorian Constellations sidebar long term, but I'm gonna try it for size now! It's certainly perfect for Halloween! Probably not Spring and Easter though

Oh, and I love my little trophy Does anyone know of a site/petpage that shows all the different ones you could get?

The potted flower is the flower the nurse had that was the final ingredient in the last potion. Only that one wasn't potted, of course.

The one that they found on the nurse, right?

I'm happily surprised, I helped my hubby to do the plot on his account, and he got 12,000 points. Just enough for the most expensive item, and more than enough for all the books he wants. So we're both happy.

I didn't dig any grave or test bones, myself---but my friend did, and I got more points that him ((about 2000+ more)).

Odd... But he also didn't do that last two parts ((and I didn't do that last potions part)).

Morbid is my middle name, I mean I watch more murder than is likely normal, but it has always intrigued me, but that is still just an odd skeleton.

Anyway, yeah. I'm just wondering if they will suddenly add an extra prize like the accidentally did in the Maraquan.

Still debating that ghost hissi...

Ah, I reloaded the sidebar repeatedly and didn't see the skeleton...guess I'll have to try again. Sigh. (Not that I'd be keeping it; a live Fauna is way better than a skeleton. )

I can't complain about sidebars, then, I suppose, since *3* have an Acara on them...

My best guess is that battling played a big role. I didn't do much else. It is possible that grave digging and bone testing/etc. did little or nothing, since those were unfair to people with slow computers/in different time zones/etc. LOL about good morals, though.

I have heard the Battledome prizes are all pretty bad--nothing more than 7 icons, at any rate. But I don't have any hard data.

I have 13,365 points! Not bad, judging that I only got to the potions part, and stopped there. I was actaully pretty pleased with myself, because I gave up at that part. The frist thing I did was buy that pb too I also bought some other stuff that looked kind of neat. Now I only have 15 points left, and of course, I can't buy anything with that Still, I'm happy with my prizes
